Nice writeup, great pictures. Vann is a great guy/rider/friend. I'll gladly go riding with him, I only wish I lived a little closer.

Another good one, yellowjacket. I would wager that a lifelong friendship could be made with many of the good souls on this board. Take an event like one of the Bashes or Hungry Mother and multiply by the number of participants. Great folks all around.

Also, I like your camping style!

Thanks for the write-up and photos Dave. Mr. Nix and his pistol look to be about the same vintage. Would love to sit around a campfire with him and just listen to his stories.

Nice write up Dave. You sure had a good trip. Although, I have to say your first camp site gave me pause! A squid rider misses that turn and you have company in your tent!

Glad to meet you! And what Brian says! Show up for a Bash or other board member ride and you can find many friends. You met the nicest people on a R1150R! (with apologies to Honda for borrowing their old slogan! )

Was that Richard B. Russell State Park in Elberton at Russel Lake? Did you just find a little niche somewhere outside the official park and pitch your tent?
I'm surprised you didn't get rousted by the local law.:D
What road was that. ..where you were camping? And why didn't you or Robbie call me to come over and join the fun? My feelings are hurt bigtime. Not to mention the way my baby feels sittin' out there in the garage all alone with only a little Japanese midget to play with.
