Thought you all might enjoy a pic of the San Jose BMW R1200S race bike at Infineon (Sears Point) last weekend with Brian Pariott as the pilot.

Agreed. Great pic.

I've been finding that the Rockster requires A LOT more body steering than I'm used to from my previous bikes, or I end up dragging peg and cylinder... Just another BMW difference to get used to.

Thanks for the wonderful picture.

Pic is awesome :)

Hmm, wish I could lean the bike this far, I always hit the center stand before getting to the pegs. I've ground off the edges of the stand. Anyone else have this problem? Any solutions short of removing the stand?

Seems like the center stand is usually the first to hit for most R bikes and I kind of doubt that the bike in the photo has one.

I had some luck cranking my rear preload up a notch when my I was hitting my toe. Have you tried that?

Don't think you'll ever get the heads down on a hexhead, especially not those--they are mounted a lot higher and narrower than oilheads, getting off a hexhead and back onto an oilhead you REALLY notice the difference
