Boise Day 1 and 2- UPDATED

Okay, no good pics yet....promise better.

Day 1 highlights - it's further than you think. 600 miles. Culpeper to Bristol (Hungry Mother breakfast meet).

US 58 to Cumberland Gap ---wow what a great section from Abingdon over the first two mountains.

US 25 into Kentucky. Ate at the original Colonel Sanders restaurant and museum....how hokie is that (No offense Yong).

Cumberland Parkway- long straight and boring but good views.

Day 2

Ohio River crossing. Wabash River Crossing. Illinois River Crossing (on a free ferry...last on/first off...sweet! Mississippi River crossing.

Hot showers, cold AC and fat dinner nearby. More coming...geezers are doing great.

So..........was that the extent of the trip? No more pictures? No more report? Has anyone heard from them?

Day 3 Broken Bow, NE from Hannibal, MO Not flat. Interesting corn.

Day 4 Broken Bow, NE to Sundance, WY Rushmore is ho hum. Black Hills are very nice. Saw the real high plains this morning from before sunrise until mid day...thought of Clint Eastwood for hours afterward.

Be forewarned. One of the Mike's refuses to stop for photo ops. The other Mike is a lousy photographer.
