Yellowjacket GS--distanzia tires

Installed the Avon Distanzia tires today. Very nice.
The rear tire 160/60-17 is slightly narrower than the stock 170/60-17. But it is easier to install, and looks good. Handles very nice offroad and I have no complaints. :D

I considered the pierelli Corsair, but I read review that remarked it was soft and deteriorated quickly.

We'll see how much mileage I get on these, on the way to Alaska.

The Yellowjacket GS...who needs a new bike. The best bike is a paid for bike.

Looks like the BMW touring screen. I have the same screen on the same bike.

Hey Charlie!
So how's the Avon Distanzias worked out?
I'm looking at tires for my Alaska trip this spring on my R, I would love to hear some feedback.
Tires like this would open up many (dirt) roads for me, maybe even make to The Artic Ocean...........

Thanks Wayne.:)

Video from Charlie?

Hey YC,

Please excuse me if I am incorrect but weren't you the one who did the ride from Florida to Alaska? If so, I think you had a preview clip of the video of the ride. When will the actual video but put together for the ride.
