Laser Dual Tech Exhaust

Guys,
Just wanted to keep you in the picture as to add ons I've used and their quality.
I fitted a Laser Dual Tech pipe a few months ago for more power and less weight as well as more noise. I picked it versus a Staintune as Laser appear to do the Boxer cup race series pipes. I had it fitted and since have had a few quality issues. Mainly the fit between each section is poor resulting in noisy leaks. These have been fixed with Holts exhaust gum although I may not be able to undo this. Does anyone know if this can be done?
Worse the removable 'legal' baffle doesn't fit well inside the pipe and leaks internally resulting in an awful farting noise on the move. This took ages to find! The 'sport baffle' works OK but isnt anything to write home about. In the end I've removed all baffles and it runs fine and sounds great.
The other thing is the chrome quality. My pipe is only a few months old and looks awful with bluing and staining all over. Lastly the left side pannier rubs the can. it hasnt melted yet but we shall see.
Otherwise it works well with useful power gains across the range and it sounds pretty good although not as loud as a stage one HD which I had before.
I regret now not taking an Aussie friends advice and getting a Staintune. During a recent trip to Aus all the bikers there raved about them.
I hope this is useful if any of you are thinking about a new pipe for the summer.
Anyway my bike arrives from Singapore in the UK end April so hope to see some London Rocksters over the summer.
Puss.
