Well, I took my first ride tonight since my accident last July 2nd. I spent a total of 3 weeks in the hospital last summer, and I am still sore. Bike was in storage all winter. I am unsure, but I think I need nice weather to reprogram my brain.

Picked up my R from 12k service, and I must admit I was thinking about this ride every day. The board sustained me.

So much has happened between then and now, I felt like a real rookie.
I won't look at cars the same way ever again.

Although it was only 25 miles, the rush hour traffic was not the place to start.

I remember thinking "All these bastards would kill me and think nothing of it, like I DESERVE it."

The highway eventually opened up, and I got my soul lost in that sweet torque.
It's medicinal. 70-80-90.... just to taste it again.

The next few weeks will no doubt be a little odd, as I re-aquaint myself with my steed.
Looking at the bike parked in the driveway, remembering how hurt I was and all I could think was "I NEED that machine"

Funny thing is my dealer, due to lack of space, created a storage fee for bikes not picked up after service is complete. only 48 hours. Shoot! 25 bucks a day! I better get over there NOW!!!

So much for deep thoughts and contemplating the meaning of life. :)
