Oh Man!
I have a Dodge Quad cab

, but, I have 3 kids, dirt bikes, and NEED a big truck so..uuummmm, it ain't true, ya know, what the article says, its practical for me to have a big truck , yea that's it..its practical...besides I use the R for all my commuting, 100 miles a day, most people at work don't even know I own a truck, drove it to work one day and everyone said " did ya get a new truck"...nope..just never drive it, unless there's a dirt bike in the back.

We were all foolish idiots when we were college aged youngsters. The especially self-righteous and most foolish were the 'serious' members of the student journalistic bent.
I have a big truck but now I think I'll also buy one of the last Excursions. Can't never have enough places to hang them flags of heritage.

I cannot afford a big truck because I spend all my money on women. What does that mean?

I don't like big SUV's, either, but I have one. We have a GMC Yukon XL Denali, but what else can we drive to hold a family of six (soon to be seven), our luggage, groceries or other stuff, and occasionally a large dog? Also, I need AWD because I live on a big hill in the "snow belt" of New Jersey.
Based on all those requirements, we narrowed it down to just a few vehicles. We got the best deal on the GMC. I has a nice ride, navigation system, good sound system, and heated seats. Yes, those heated seats are really a great thing in the winter.

They were very common down under..and sometimes called a 'shaggin' wagon'.
And both those stickers that Jamming mentioned were on the back of most of them...

I have a 2003 Ford F350 SuperDuty extended cab dually with the 7.3 Powerstroke Diesel. Full "Banks" power upgrades and 6 speed manual trans. The 450 rear wheel HP pulls my 12,000 lb 35 ft 5th wheel up any Colorado mountain with ease.

OK - I had a Chev S-10, then an extended cab Chev S-10, and I now drive a full size Chev Silverado with a long bed. Does it seem that as I get older, my trucks are getting longer? That must mean something that I probably don't want to know........
