Wow...after catching Dust to Glory a few too many times this is great...that dirt is like talcum powder.

When do we get a result.....and it's a shame they can't use that bike in the Dakar.

Thanks DJ! Prob tomorrow or next day for results. They arent on the SCORE Baja 1000 site as of yet anyway.

can someone explain why the HP2 can't race Dakar? Is it homologation issues?

It's now restricted to a 650cc single......I think.

Charlie Boorman will ride a BMW 650GS...I hope it's on Nitros..

DJ,

your are correct, I pulled the rules and specs from the dakar web site:

"In Groups 1 and 2, twin cylinders of over 451 cm3 are forbidden."

groups 1 and 2 are production and super production 2 wheel vehicles respectively. So I guess a twin under 451cc's would be ok?...
