Center stand

Does anyone know where I can buy a center stand for my Edition 80 Rockster.

You can just order one from your BMW dealer...or try a motorcycle wreckers....see top of pic..

I had the dealer put one on before I picked mine up... seemed totally ludicrous to NOT have a centerstand on the bike. Nevermind that BMW thought it looks better without. It is the same stand as on the 'regular' Rockster and R bikes.

the impression my dealer gave me at handover was that the centre stand should be used all the time thus keeping the oil from living left-side....

Just bite the bullet and have your dealer install it,,about $250.00.If you order it new as an option its only $100.00,,,I found out too late.If you are good with tools you can install it your self,check out the on-line parts fichs at MAXBMW,there are like 20 parts to this thing.

Centrestand

The centrestand is strongly recommended -- like all BMW stands (my 15 year old R80 is the same) it's really easy to use ... just a bit of downward pressure and a very gentle heave and it's safe and sound!
