Colder Temps

37° this morning and getting colder. Sure glad I've changed my R's antifreeze.

Getting cold here too, in fact a little ice on the windshield yesterday.

Best riding conditions of the year for the next 7 months are finally here !!
Daytime high 90 F 32 C, lows 70 F 21 C .

My 9 year old F800ST actually is still on its first replacement 7 year antifreeze solution and it's clear look'n AOK. Right now it is 51 DegF (10.6C) outside at 9:10pm, going down to 38F (3.3C), (for the first time this season) by morning. Fortunately for me hiding upright and behind the protective fairing I also can ride year round for short-2-medium rides on select days -and- the bike's advanced water cooling system (with an oil-water heat exchanger) warms up to full operating engine temp in about 5 miles. Both the bike and where I live are keepers. :D

30 last weekend, so I poured some right into the oil filler, and few teaspoons in the gearbox too. just in case!

How'd I do?
