Gorgeous bike. But me, I'm with Scottybooj on this in that it looks too like all the other (very good) bikes you can buy. It's not got BMW's telelever/paralever for a start which is a shame.
The price, Arkline? They say about €9,000.

Looks damn good, and they say there's a whole series of parallel twins on the way. Can't wait to hear that motor!
Hmm... about the same power as the Roadster, minus about 100 pounds. Liquid cooled, belt drive, sexy K-style mirrors, passenger grab handles, low saddle and slender waist, single-sided swingarm, and those wheels...
If a centerstand and some decent-sized luggage is available, and those ABS brakes are non-servo, and the price isn't ludicrous, we might be onto something here. I even like the color.

More info: a 180-degree crank, balance shaft, and a cable-actuated clutch, apparently.

Thanks Dean for posting it...do you know if the engine is Aprilia...there seems alot going on that's not normal BMW.

The rumor was for an Aprilia Collaboration, but Rotax motor... BMW are now calling the previously known T800 (unofficial name - {link}), the F800S. The BMW F800S motorcycle is the first of a series of motorcycles developed on a twin cylinder, 800 cc 4-valve Bombardier-Rotax motorcycle. The compression is a very high 12:1.
The wet weight is 200 kg, and the motorcycle has the latest digital electronics, including ABS. The F800S motorcycle, as seen from previous spy photos uses a belt drive as found on the F650CS-Scarver.
The motorcycle develops some 60 kW (about 80 bhp).

Nice know'n ya BMW...... It was fun pretending that I had money and shared company with the riche.
I was hoping that it was gonna be a reasonably priced bike. With ANY luck, maybe it can be had naked with upright bars, for under ten grand..... maybe.
Oh well, it was fun dreaming for an entire morning.

Maybe they are rolling out the high ticket items and getting people excited, then in a year or two they will provide the economically feasible versions.
Supposedly the they were going to do a whole HP series of hop-up bikes like the M-series for their cars. Imagine the cost of the HP versions of their current offerings?
