Control of turns

Here's a three-minute video that everyone should watch and then practice the same or similar manoeuvres until we can do it just like these guys - especially Rider #2. Until he overcompensates....
Note that at no point does anybody use the FRONT brake. Control is permanently via the rear brake and the throttle.
Acquiring this skill would make us all more confident.....a n d.....safer riders.

I felt like throwing up after a couple of minutes viewing. Just circus tricks, even trials riders aren't this aggressive. The tyres must be super grippy as well.

Remember Gregor that these little Japanese guys weigh about as much as a wet-through Homepride loaf, so their speed is unrepresentatively impressive compared to a lardy Westerner. And my Michelin Pilot Road 3 rubber does actually allow me to lean as far as those 2 guys do, in complete confidence, altho' of course not at such ridiculous speeds.

i find my R corners nearly as well as my old FZ1. Especially after the servo removal. Low COG. Theres an funny wives tale that BMW boxers don't corner or lean well. And that the heads(valve covers) hit the ground if you do

sorta true, but pegs scrape too.

Hey, that's my favourite BMW picture! Identical colour scheme for my bike and me! As an OAP that's my ambition to corner like that . Flip flopping like those little Japanese riders is not feasible as a fragile senior.
