R1150R Turn signal holders

I have intermittent use of 1of my rear turn signals, and instead of just replacing bulbs, want to replace the silver bulb housings.
When I look at online parts riches for R1105R there is a turn signal "holder", the entire unit, but there is no part for the silver bulb housing that pops out and connects with flat blade connectors.

Do I have to buy a 63 $ full housing to get that little plastic bulb housing?

If you mean the mirrored reflector/metal bulb socket assembly, then I'm not aware the part is available separately. But careful sanding and bending of metal contact surfaces in socket and terminal tabs can restore electrical function.

Or spend the OE parts money on aftermarket LED replacements:

As a measure of time, our R1150R bikes are "Legacy II"... old!

Replace two turn signals (front or rear pair) and use the removed OE parts as spares for the remaining positions.

+1 on what sweatmark has said. The mirrored part is plastic as is most of the assembly with just metal parts that actually contact the bulb. Doesn't take much to crack the plastic. I've had to epoxy my amber lens where the little "leg" on the inside end broke off. I'm admittedly tight on buying if I can repair otherwise. BMW stands for Bring My Wallet.

Thanks. I noticed that the base of the bulbs are a little worn, picked up new bulbs, bbut I think the Weisers are the way to go

Those Weisers are not listed for our bikes. As said, bend the contacts a little to bring them against the bulbs. Gently clean them to remove any corrosion. I've used an old rubber ink eraser in the past. Cheaper than $85.

:( My scrolling finger is worn out. Never imagined the pages went so far down. At least there is not a legacy price premium.
