80's fairings

If the OP, or anyone has a photo of a Shoei FM-3 mounted on a Roadster ? Would a pic be possible ?
I have one, and am considering it. So just thought I'd ask.....

Is that what it's called!
Mine is still in the garage rafters. But mounting it on a Rockster is..... problematic.
When I had mine on a 550Zephyr (it's been on 2 of them, and a v50 Guzzi), it was very nice. the 'shelf' under the screen is monumentally useful.
I don't appear to have ANY photos of it online though.....

I can see where it would be more 'involved' on a Rockster...but
the Roadster will be a bit more straight forward [easier] ?
The T/signals will likely require some thought ?
I'm not 'unhappy' with my touring shield , but...IMO always room for improvement...

It'll fit a 7" headlight nicely. The handlebar mounts will be easy (I highly recommend using some freeing-oil on the fittings first), the issue you might have is getting the fittings on each side of the headlight to fit comfortably. that was always the awkward bit for me.
put some pics up when you're done.

Freeing oil ? as in penetrating oil ? The one that I have , I have had for years...but it is brand new, still in the orig,box & bag.
If it's a go...and likely will be, I intend on making my own mounts...at least for the permanent install.
I'll do a test mount & ride....if it doesn't help ? Why bother ? But if it does ? Then I'll paint it and make some [less cheesy] looking mount hardware.

Speakin'a "80's" ? fairings. I have seen photos of an Oilhead with what was said to be a Fallert fairing on it. It is a "med" sized fairing....larger than , say an "S" fairing, but at the same time not large. And IMO very nice looking. I have googled it a bunch.....but find nothing more than those photos.
Anyone else know of it ? Have a source for it ?
It could be i suppose another one of those 'smaller' companies that put out a nice product ? but never found a $$ making market for it.

I'd really like to see the Shoei's pics, mounted or not. Like other posters, I have only been able to find photos of the Fallert, not any for sale or any info on them. Of course you guys know about the Parabellum Scout, they look nice, are made for the model, and are available from the manufacturer (about six hundred dollars unpainted). Unpainted means the lower of the fairing is black, which depending on your bike might look pretty good as is. Parabellum charges $200, I think, for painting. You probably also know Parabellum was founded to make fairings for BMWs originally, although they now make windshields and fairings for many makes and models.

Where is the pic?
If it's on the internet, simply copy the address of the page (
http://some.thing.tld/whatever) from your browser address bar into the forum.
If it's on your computer, you'll have to upload it to a photo hosting service, then use the 'share' button to get the 'bb-code' which you can then copy into the forum.

I went to the pic, rt click, l click - "copy image" came back here , hit ctrl/V ....nothing ?
That is the method I use all the time ?

Copy image won't work....that needs hosting. We need the web address from the top of the page.

That is the method I use all the time ?
As TrickyTree said - that won't work for copying a link to the pic. Best way is to right click on the image, hit 'open image in a new tab', then copy the address of the image and paste that into the forum text field.
for those interested..... here's my Shoei lurking in the rafters....

Best option I can think of is...just google it for yourselves ?
Fallert Fairing on a BMW...is where i found it. It displays a series of photo's the fairing will catch you attention, it is on a black Roadster.
BTW...that is the same Shoei fairing I have.

Yes!!.......apparently I'm lacking in skills....
So...which do you think looks the nicest , the Fallert or the Shoei ?
