BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

I just bought a front fender for my 2002 r1150r and it's from a 2001 bmw r1100 rt. Has anyone else done this? How do you like the look? At first, it was not what I wanted but I like it now. Anyone else have any pics?

OK, lots of views but no pics. I'll take some of mine and post. I'd like to see what others think.

personally, I really LIKE the beak. If i wanted it to look like another bike, I'd just buy another bike lol

the red r in the thread...is what my bike might look like if I de-beak it...not too bad I suppose.

I think it's just in my nature to "modify" what I have, for no other reason than to make it mine. I'm sure this won't be the only thing I do, but it was the first and I will post some pics. I like the bike overall, but not the front fender. And I don't think I'm alone. Just curious - what 2016 model has the "beak"?

the beak went away with the oilhead engine. it is no more.

OK, that's kinda what I thought. I know some like the style, others do not. I'm just thankful that this general style seems to have a lot of interchangeable options.
