clutch bleed

Post by krowl »

Hello all,

I have a 2002 bmw r1150r and I have had it for about 6 months. I am still learning about this bike and this site is wonderful. The problem I'm having is I want to bleed the clutch and I am having some difficulty. Where exactly do you bleed it from? Is it the fitting by the steering on the left hand side and do I need to install a bleed valve there? I'm just worried about inducing air into the system. I have looked on the web on how to do this and maybe I'm just not getting it. I hate being the noobie on this stuff.

I'm also trying to do the brake bleed and I have the servo assisted braking system. That might be a question for another time I thought that was going to be pretty straight forward but once I got to to abs unit nothing is labeled so I don't know what bleed valve goes to what. I have the special bleed tool funnel just as well pour some beer in it and drink out of it!

Any help would be so much appreciated!!!
