Compatible foot pegs

Is there another bike that has compatible foot peg attachments with the R1150R? The part with the pin that attaches the peg to the bike.

Are you asking about the piece that the footpeg mounts to and is mounted to the subframe? If so the GS ones have the same bolt pattern and will move the pegs forward and down, there have been some previous threads on that.

No. I'm wanting to use the existing plate on the bike. The peg itself fits into the plate. Just wondering if any other pegs will fit. Many of the adjustable pegs I've seen fit the newer bikes. The MFW Vario footpegs have a piece that it made to fit your bike and then the two other parts (displacement arm and footpeg) are essentially universal. Just wondering if the R1150R has a mount common with any other bike.

The mounting is the same size as several european bikes, pegs from a BMW F650CS and Triumph Speed Triple (05-08) will fit. There are no inexpensive fixes, most of pegs from other bikes are not going to change the position by much. If you are looking for lower pegs then consider this:

So, how about one of these super-duper Hong Kong specials? I wonder if they are actually any good. Would be unfortunate if your foot peg broke off while riding down the road.
