Wolfman Tank Bag

I've been looking for a tank bag for my new R1200R and settled on a Wolfman Explorer Lite, mostly because of the size (not to big) and price. This bag has straps, which is what I'm used to and prefer. But I see that there's precious little to attach it to up front, probably because of the Telelever design which does away with a traditional steering stem. All I can find are the left and right brackets that hold the carbon canister, which are kinda sharp and don't really seem like a good idea. Any suggestions?

I've had the same bag attached to those brackets for 5 years without incident. When I removed.... er, ah... when the canister fell off, I kept the brackets for the straps. I recently started using a small magnetic bag. Convienent as can be, but it has made some scratches.

Same bag attached to the same place. No issues.

I formerly had a Wolfman Timberline that I attached by wrapping the front strap around the streering head, worked great.
