My first mistake was to let the bike sit for six months after the quick connect broke. I replaced the quick connect, added fresh fuel, but the bike will not start. If i spray a little starting fluid into the intake, it fires right up. Not even a hiccup without the starting fluid. I removed the injectors and they seem to spray when i turn the starter over, but i put them back on the bike and nothing. Pretty stumped here, any suggestions?

Did you replace both QDs?
Perhaps you've got the pipes swapped over? ie the fuel-out pipe from the tank plugged into the fuel-return pipe at the QD location?

I replaced on a couple of years ago and this one this week. I get a good stream of gas if I disconnect the injectors and cycle the fuel pump.

Check the throttle cables are seated correctly where they meet the throttle bodies.
