Replaced the front tire a few days ago, put a Michelin Pilot Road 4, WOW, what a difference from the wore out Michelin PR 2 !!!
I noticed the front pads are in need or replacement .
Anyone have any experience, good or bad with after market pads ???
I have no issues with the way the OEM pads worked, phenomenal brakes compared to my airhead bikes !!!! :D
Just a few hundred miles short of 50,000 on the original pads .

New tires really make a diff. I use Carbone Lorainne sintered pads from Beemer Boneyard (Hope I spelled that right) they work well, the back pads were going so I bought front and rear but really did not have to change the fronts yet just cleaned the front calipers and pads looks like 5-10k still on them. Did replace brake fluid though .

I looked at the C L and EBC pads, about half the price of OEM parts !!!!
Carbonne Lorraine pads $33 for a set (1 caliper) and $34 for EBC .
If only I had know this 3 weeks ago, ordered EBC pads and shoes for one of my airhead bikes, from Bike Bandit !!!

I still prefer the OE pads, I find they last longer.

EBC "Double H" pads, from the internet or any HonYamKawSuz dealer parts dept. They provide more stopping power, look nice and really last.

Those are the pads that I ordered from Bike Bandit .
I was wondering what kind of service life I'd get out of them, I'm pretty easy on brakes .

Got the EBC pads installed on Saturday and about 100 miles on them as of today .
I must say, there is a notable positive difference in braking capability with the replacement pads .
Taking it easy until they get worn in to the brake rotors .
We'll see how long the pads last and how the rotor wears .
