Width of Rockster bars

I have fiddled with risers and rotating the bars but I am not happy with the standard riding position on the R. My preference is for a lower and more forward ride. Rotating the bars gave the right feel but the bars touched the tank (enough to set of the indicators) and when I put GS hand guards on they wouldn't fit right until I put the bars back to a more neutral position

A few folk have said that Rockster bars are lower and flatter but that they are also wider.

I have measured the standard R bars and they are 29" from the inside edges of the bar weights. Does anyone know (or have access to a Rock) how wide the Rock are bars (using the same criteria).

My options are Rock bars or Wunderlich Sportego bars but the Wunderlich bars need new weights and the hole for the grip heaters appears to be right in the middle.

So the long and short is...how much wider are Rockster bars really?

Any help appreciated.

Haven't got the bike to hand (nor a rule), but from memory, the Rockster bars are a couple of inches wider than the stock R-R bars - so about what you'd get if you flattened the stock bars.

TBH - I wouldn't be surprised if they two bars were made from the same blank, and just bent differently.

I have Rockster handlebars that I would sell you. I put them on my roadster, and they are lower, flatter and wider.
I after using them for a season, I decided to go back to the stock bars. more comfortable for me.

if you are interested in buying the Rockster handlebars, Pm me and let me know.

cheers
