Hello everybody!

I am very happy belonging to this selected BMW members group.

My name is Cosme, I am 59 years old, 5'7" and @ 150 pounds, married, four sons and Grandpa too, working since 20 years ago for Bauer Compressors as a Service Tech, Trainer, Spare parts Associated, Warranty and now Sales Project Engineer for Latin-America.

After other previous bikes, this year I bought my brand new "90 Years Anniversary" bike and I am so happy riding it.

I have a lot of questions but at same time I want to learn from all of you guys and I am willy to express and share my knowledge with all of you too!

Doug, thank you very much for your constant work keeping in touch all BMW family riders.

Hello Cosme!

Welcome to the board, and congrats on your new bike!

You'll find there's lots of helpful folks around here willing to answer questions or share their experience.
Just don't start a new windshield or oil thread and you'll be OK. ;)
Seriously though, ask away and share what you find owning your new bike!

Oh yeah, we like photos of new bikes too.

Cheers

Finn

Welcome aboard. I wind up using photobucket generated links for the pics. But I'm sure there's lots of ways to post.

Thanks All for your welcomes and nice words

I was traveling South America for business almost three weeks, it will be lovely if this trip could be on my bike because there are beautiful roads. The Chilean and Peruvian mountains are extremely interesting, dangerous and exited but definitively job is job and pleasure is pleasure...
This week I will perform the first 600 miles maintenance to my R12R at Dealer's shop but in a future I expect make by my own, as I had read a lot about good technicians and manners, reading manual and reading from this wonderful site I will mastering.

Again thank you guys for your experience and great expertise about motorcycles specially my R12R!

By the way the 1200 boxer 2013 is definitively different from previous 2012 and before boxers so, I guess shop manual will has differences from previous, my question does anybody of you could share 2013 manual with me or there are any way to by one?

Have a great ride!
