re-connect fuel lines

so i took them off and didn't bother to notice which one from the tank went to which one below. appears there are two lines at the bottom. one is above the other. up in the tank there are two metal spigots. one has an arrow pointing up and the other pointing down. how do they go back together? will reverse quick release so i don't get them mixed up again.
sometimes i don't plan. help and older man.....

You mentioned the quick release so I assume you are talking about the fuel lines and not the smaller breather lines that so often get mixed up when taken apart. The fuel lines should already have the QD's going in opposite directions to avoid a mix up unless the previous owner changed the fuel lines and put the QD's going in the same direction.

that is what happened. so which arrowed line on tank spigot to upper or lower line?
