One of my favorite spots - the
Bixby Bridge (1932) just south of Monterey, CA on HWY 1. This is the Old Coast Rd. which cuts in at the bridge and runs about 15 mi. before rejoining HWY 1 at Andrew Molera State Park in Big Sur. Unpaved, rutted, and with washboard, I wouldn't recommend this for a streetbike. This was my turnaround location.
Fantastic scenery though and a great day to be out...
Time's past abord the
RR:

The batman style fairing is interesting. The mirrors seem somewhat impracticle.
I don't have any pictures of my bike in interesting spots yet...

I think most of us would find a picture of your bike in your garage interesting...

that Flyscreen is pure evil. DOCTOR Evil, thankyouverymuch. Tiny little blinkers & nice rotors, too. I'm beginning to like the silver engine/silver wheels combo MUCH more than the blackout treatment. This makes the SuperDuke look.... smaller.
the bar ends - a throttle lock?
nice meat skewers - I mean, mirrors

Anyway, post some more KR or KS pics, I like the torture.

Let's see if I can get this to work:

Waiting to escape.

The Kat and the K: A reliable ride for 15 years. I will miss her. But I just don't have room for more vehicles.

New mirrors went on the night I got the K home.

With the bags on.

utzguy.....nice bike, I specially like the Napoleons, it just makes for a much cleaner look. I run a similar set on my bikes, including the R1150R.

Thanks!
I've always liked the Napoleon mirrors. I had them on a GS500 and my brother had them on his SV650. I think they make the bike look lower and meaner. Plus they give a really good view. I rode with only the left one on the GS500 for a while and it gave a better view than both the stock mirrors.
Now I just have to decide if I want the BMW fairing or the less functional but way stylin' Wunderlich "batbike" fairing.

Nice color scheme
utzguy...
I was trying to find one that color too but they were rapidly disappearing around me before I decided to jump. I was hearing that if I didn't have a deposit on one or get one already here, I'd possibly have to wait it out til next year. Couldn't and didn't want to, wait that is...
Another pic of my local playground: Carmel Valley Rd. (Monterey County G16) runs southeast from HWY 1 to 101 - about 50 mi. of twisty fun with a few places to let 'er rip thrown in for good measure. Just have to be vigilant for deer, wild pigs, coyote, turkey, etc...
Man, that Wunderlich screen looks very
BATMAN like! Didn't like it when I first saw it, but that's changing.
I also like the AC Schnitzer one:
Keep 'em coming!

rivi,
That's funny. I was waiting for the color you got when Lonestar got the graphite in and I decided to take it.

I think BMW's distribution system leaves a lot to be desired.

Did you say my bike's ugly?! Meet my friend...
Located at a nice little farmhouse on Stage Rd. just outside of Pescadero, CA. Skeleton dude with .50 Cal stands about 15' high!
This is the welcome sign!
Pretty cool, huh?

Bird's eye view from Nacimiento Fergusson Rd. overlooking HWY 1 on the central coast of California...
