Hello,
Accidentally posted this on the 1200 forum. The bike is a 1150 so have moved the question over there.

Make sure that the right throttle cable housing is properly seated. It is very close to where you were working. It is very common for the end of the housing to get pulled up a bit and catch on the edge of the bracket.

BillR - You might get a more informative response on the R1150R forum.

Hi, the cable is moving freely when I turn the throttle, the throttle wheel turns as well.

I am moving this post over to the 1150 forums as I accidentally posted to 1200 from my mobile (as I mentioned above, I guess the small screen messed me up.

I already posted this in my original post to the 1150 side, after I told the moderator to delete this from 1200 side. I guess he didn't delete it, and just moved it... so just to make sure this is addressed properly....

And after all that... it was that the throttle cable wasn't seated properly. Turns out that even if the throttle wheel rotates, if it doesn't get all the way to the bottom, it won't operate properly. i.e. the cylinder won't fire. If the throttle was partially opened I would have expected a lot more obnoxious sounds instead of none at all. Like someone said though, it's amazing it runs as well as it did on one cylinder. nu.

Sooooo.... never mind.
