I still have (haven't used it lately) both sizes of the Freedom Air cushions. Had the Airhawk, did not work for my anatomy. I found the smaller (sport) size of the FA cushion works well with my redone by Sargent low seat. When I'm traveling a distance, I'll usually toss the FA cushion in one of the sidecases, and use it when my butt needs a break from one position.

Biggest secret to any air-cushion - do NOT overinflate. Less air is better then more air.

Bob - the resale value on them seems decent, so IMHO it's worth the $$ risk to see if it works for you.

Made all the difference to my R1100R.

I have been using an Airhawk for several years. Very pleased with it and had only 1 small leak that was easily repaired with the kit sent with the cushion. The secret is to not overinflate the cushion. I thought the Airhawk was pricey but the Freedon is outrageous.
