Engine Chatter After Valve Adjust

Have front end engine chatter, particularly while warming up, recently started after having the valves adjusted. What'd I miss? I have an '04 R1150 R I acquired last year with only 8300 miles on it. I have since replaced the original tires, not really worn just didn't trust them due to their age, and I am slowly working the mileage up (over 10500 now). Having the fastest color (put in whatever color that is) I am naturally concerned about this new noise.

Assuming the valves were done right and all the nuts are still tight, cam chain tensioner, noise sound louder on the left side and goes away somewhat are getting warm? Use a long flat blade screw driver to get a better idea were the sound is coming from (put blade on engine and press handle to your ear).

It does diminish after warming up, from the front end, possibly left side. Is this the dreaded but non fatal tensioner I have read about?
