This outlines an exchange I had with someone who posted an ad on Craigslist for a R1100r
I sent an inquiry about getting more photos and about the correct mileage.
This is the reply that I received from the seller:
Hi,
Thanks for your interest, The bike is still available. I have taken up an appointment with missionary.Presently, Am are here doing the UNICEF programme (The United Nations Children's Fund) for through our direct service to mankind, the blessings and promises of God will manifest today, I’d have actually left it behind, but my wife advised that I should sell the bike since nobody to ride the bike. NO ACCIDENTS. NO DENTS. NO SCRATCHES. NO CRACKS. NO DAMAGE.
Kept inside. All service - on time. BIKE IS ROAD READY. I also have all the original equipment. Now, I want you to get in touch with my wife in the states for more discussion as She is with the motorcycle and the document to the bike. Please i want you to note that, I am a kind and honest man and also i spent alot of money on the bike, so i solicit for your absolute maintenance of this bike, but want you to keep it clean and neat all the time so that i will be glad to meet you in person and see it neat when i come for medical check up, i do that once in a while.
I also want you to let me have trust in you as I always stand on my word.
Send my wife Kaylar an Immediate message, on ([email protected]) and she will attend to you better on how to proceed.
Thanks and you are welcome

Your English has a conspicuous mixture of formality and grammatical error.
You have given me a bunch of information about your situation and character, but you have not answered my questions.
1) Can someone send me more pictures of the bike?
2) How many miles are on the odometer at this time?
I do not intend to maintain a relationship with you after the purchase. I will not wire money anywhere.
Really, I think that it is funny how you scammer Africans manipulate stupid Americans, but you might want to advertise a Harley Davidson motorcycle for better results!
