Critical Brake Failure abs/servo maybe?

Hi Guys
I hope you can help with this one. She is an 1150R 04 with ABS and servo assisted brakes.
I have just returned early from my camping holiday due to residual braking issues.
It stated with the brake failure indicator light would start flashing faster than normal after the self diagnostic was complete and the general warning light would go out.
This only happened in the mornings of the last few days but would then be fine when she had warmed up after doing a few miles.
She then started doing it after she had cooled down a bit during the day before I set off again.
This morning the brake failure light was working overtime and would not go out and I was left with residual braking when I was 300 miles away from home.
I can tell you, you really plan ahead and curse those sods who jump junctions, tow trailers and drive lorrys.
I slowly limped to an open garage, I did set off at 08:30 and it is a Sunday, and just as it came in sight the brake failure light went off and the brakes were fine.
I decide to cut the holiday short and get home whilst the weather was good and I had full use of the brakes.
On the way home the brakes worked fine, abs and servo no probs, no real issues at all.
The residual braking lessened as well, when stopping for fuel and food.
The pads are fine as I checked and cleaned them3 months ago.
The brake fluids are within the set limits front and rear
She was dealer serviced at 24K March 09 and she is now just showing 500 under 30K
The brake a clutch fluids are due to be changed next March
I was as if the fluid levels were juts a bit low, then when everything warmed up and expanded everything came back within tolerance and all was ok?
When I put her away at home, I just checked if she would pass the self diagnostic ok? She did and everything was flashing fine, but that was after a 300 mile run
This problem started on Friday
Any advice as where to start would be gratefully accepted.
