Heated bar grips stopped working

The heated bar grips on my R1150R (2004) have stopped working. Please read the following tests I have performed before responding. Thank you for any helpful advice i.e. solutions or further steps to diagnose the problem.
• The Load Relief Relay works, because all the other components that use it work i.e. Lights, Horn, Turn signals
• I have also tested using an alternative Load Relief Relay and the heated bar grips still did not work
• There is continuity between the Load Relief Relay and fuse 7
• Fuse 7 has continuity i.e. its not blown
• There is continuity between the fuse an the input to the switch
• There is continuity between the input to the switch and the output of the switch, which indicates that the switch works
• When I turn the engine on and then turn the switch on I do not get a voltage reading at the switch input. I set my multi meter to both 50 volts and 10 volts but still got no reading. The – (negative) end of the multi meter was connected to the – (negative) terminal of the battery.
