Is anyone other than me going to the 32nd Dan’l Boone Rally next weekend ? I've rested up for a couple of weekends and am ready to head back out.

I didn't stay at the campground as I live only an hour away and it was a hectic week. I missed Mark, but met several great folks and enjoyed approximately 500 miles of sweet paved and gravel mountain roads with perfect weather. Saw deer, wild turkey and a red fox (no animal pics, sorry) in addition to the cows, horses and asses  (4 legged kind).

I love hacks. They keep calling to me in bad ways. The GS was very nice. The Gold Wing has an optional electric powered car seat that raises/lowers it and provides a way for the disabled Mrs. to enter/exit. Very cool couple that covers huge miles going to BMW events all over the country. Both these hacks tow camp trailers too. :-k

Sooooo boring. Same ol blue skies, great roads and scenery every place you rode. Just a couple of pics. Cell phone camera doesn't do any justice to real deal.

Nice! Looks like a great time, love the snake. Sometimes I wish I lived a bit more centrally, it's a long way to everything from here...

Sorry I missed you Bob. I was camped right next to the couple in the purple gold wing side car. Saturday morning me and a MOB buddy went to Va. for a ride around. How is it to ride naked on the R1200R? I guess I could find out easily enough.

Hey! Mark

Next time/event I'll give you my cell number, it would have been fun to ride and b.s. a bit. I am in a cycle (pun intended) of naked, fully faired then naked again these last few years. I use my old gortech sport bags when camping. I would like to get a screen before winter, but there are still more r1200r posts on windshield problems than anything else so it hasn't been a top priority. Over a 90-100 MPH it gets old quick and in heavy rain I have received a few good bow waves from passing vehicles. Other than that, she is a beautiful looking and running machine just as the doG's intended she be

From camping trip a few weeks ago. I have a line on some hard bags w/ minor scratches that are very cheap, but for now...
