I am trying to figure something out. I may go Fri night, or Sat am. But I need to get a new front tire mounted. I have the tire in the garage. 9600 miles on the front Pilot Road 1.

I'm planning on heading out early saturday morning and I'm in need of a new front tire too. Mine will last at least a couple more weeks and I'll order a new one once I get home from Florida (I'm currently in Florence, South Carolina right now). I also had another coil go bad which should be replaced today (I EXPECT the USPS has delivered it; if not then I'm going to be MAD). I could use a valve adjustment/TB sync too but we'll see if I get to that before tomorrow.
Maybe I'll see you this weekend. Look for the BMWBMW group - they should have a large banner.

Let me know early if you need the coil. I can check with Holt in Athens, and pick it up along the way.
Haven't changed the tire yet, but I have a little life left in the one on the bike.

That's the spirit. Don't change anything. Just keep buying the replacement parts and carry them with you. It makes for entertaining stories as long as you don't have to ride bitch on my bike!

The back seat is too small for me on the ST. I checked that out at the Appletree.
Plus the tire changing equipment I have access too is just a mile away.

Got the coil and instaled it. Bike packed, ready to roll out.
Jeff, I'll try calling you when I get therte. There *should* be cell service in the valley (Canaan, that is). Let's try to meet up - I have some new roads to explore.
