I am 5'10" (r1150R high OEM seat) and can't decide between a CB or a Parabellum. I was leaning toward the 21" Parabellum windshield, but will take any advice from other riders to make my final choice.

Questions:
1. Any pics of either installed on your bike would be appreciated.
2. Is it better for wind buffeting that the OEM shield I have now (see pic)?

I'm about 6' even and have a high Rick Mayer seat. This photo at http://www.pbase.com/image/115192460 shows me and the tall Parabellum. It improved the wind management of the BMW touring shield, but I have recently added a Laminar Lip to it (not shown). It is just about right for me now.

I tried to display the photo (stored on pbase.com) in my previous message, but got an error message saying that the image's size could not be determined. How do I cure that situation?

I have a 21.5 Cee-Bailey with laminar lip tacked on. I'm just over 6'1" and this combo finally got the turbulence over my head. Had to shim the screen with garden hose washers too. That said, I don't like the screen right in front of my helmet so it's not staying on. Should have kept the fly-screen. Every other screen I've tried so far has damn near shaken my fillings loose. OEM Sport screen, National Cycle, and now the Cee-Bailey. Here are a couple of photos of the Cee-Bailey. It mounts with the OEM Sport screen hardware, shakes in a cross wind, but pretty solid.

The seat in your photo does not look like the high seat, looks like the "mid" or even the low seat. At 5'10" a 21 inch screen should work well
for you.

Still waiting for my clutch from RB Racing, summer is going by, and the bikes in pieces.

I am about 1.7m and tried a CB screen. Not good for me, buffeting was bad. Removed it and the speedster screen gave me clean air on which my helmet can slice through (or something like that).

I'm interested to find out about the parabellum as well and interested in finding out people's experiences with them on long trips. BTW I don't want to hijack the thread, but I was also wondering if anyone had tried the Wunderlich Classic Roadster fairing?

I have a Parabellum Scout with the 10" and 20" screens. I can't ride with the 20" because it doesn't nothing but direct all of the air at my head...the 10" stays on year round. I'm 6'3" so YMMV.

I have the 21" Parabellum on my '04 with a laminar lip. I am 5'10" and still had more buffeting than I liked so I added the Airflow Tank Wings and eliminated virtually all buffeting. I can ride now with face shield in any position and it stays. Also can listen to the radio and GPS at any speed clearly. A very good combination.
