TB Sync Help!!

Attempted to balance the TB's on my 2002 R over the weekend with a CarbTune - have a funny feeling I've co**ed it up and I am nw up the creak without a paddle as I am due to do a charity ride to Morocco next week!!
Can it be done with a CarbTune? With it hooked up the right cylinder was approx 20% higher than the left....?
Is there anyone nr Basingstoke, UK that would be prepared to give me a hand with this for some beer tokens? If not how much labour time do you think it will be at a garage??

Can you be more specific about what is wrong or what you did?
I used a Morgan Carb Tune to synch my throttle bodies. It works well. I used these instructions,

which incorporate the use of a TwinMax, but you can still use them with your Carb Tune.

That's the guide I used but my two cylinders are like 20% out with each other on the carb tune, but if i try to level them I can't get them down enough and the bike runs like crap!

Did you do a valve adjust first?
If not, you need to.

It sounds like your hose connections or the hose to your CarbTune itself has a leak in them. Try the other 2 hookups (if you have a 4 cylinder CarbTune).
Once you do get it right, swap each of the hoses to the other cylinder to check that the columns are still equal heights. If it's different, there's an error in your CarbTune and you need to use something else.

I have a hand-built manometer - built as per Cyclerob's excellent instructions.
I'm not a million miles away from you (Cutt Mill near Puttenham) - just off the Hog's Back a mile or so beyond the bottom end of the A331.

Forgot to add that I'd happily help do a valve adjust (not that I enjoy doing it) but the engine needs to be stone cold when you do it, so not really an option unless you can trailer the bike over.

Check to see that the right side throttle cable is fully seated in the cable adjuster as sometimes while adjusting the TB's it can be pulled out of the adjustoer. The Carb Tune is OK to use, provided the lines are the same length and there are no leaks.

The bike can be fan cooled for a valve adjustment (<95degF) prior to the synch check. roundy's bike will have a large synch error that will suck the water out one side as soon as you start it. You'll need to get it close with his CarbTune beforehand. Before you do that, a good CarbTune troubleshoot would be to use it first on your bike to confirm that it's working properly. Then use it on his bike to get it close before shutting it off to put the water manometer on it.

Well thanks to Martin's help all is sorted!
After an awful time with seized BBAS's which we had to run through a number of hoops to remove (WD40, boiling water and an impact screwdriver!) we managed to get it all sorted! I've replaced the BBAS's this afternoon with some shiny new ones and everything is spot on!
