Erroneous Distance Remaining

Morning All:

I was out riding my R12R yesterday, and with the mileage remaining at 10 I ran out of gas-pulled to the side of the highway about three miles from an exit with petrol. Who ever gave the input, 'tip the bike to the right' saved me a long walk. Moved enough gas to get me to the station.
I will make sure to fill up at 20 miles remaining-lesson learned!!

that was, what, 2 weeks ago? only i didn't have the brains to tip it around a bit. luckily AAA got there pretty quick!

seems the germans can't quite measure volume correctly.
