BMW R1200R R1150R/T F800 K1200R R1100R/T R1250R RnineT Message Board

Hey all,
I just moved to Toronto and I'm in the process of getting an Ontario M license.

The ministry recognized my European experience so I only need to take a Highway test for a full M license.

I'm not ready to buy a motorcycle (R most probably) just yet, so I'm looking to rent for the test.
Anyone know of any rentals in Toronto ??? Finding a R or even a GS would be great !!!

Speaking from my younger brother's experience,
I would rent a 250cc Honda Rebel or a Highway certified moped , just for the testing purpose.
Don't know about Canada, but in US, renting a Harley is much cheaper than BMW. Go figure ...

Do NOT use a moped of any kind for the test. In Ontario, your license will be good ONLY on mopeds if you do.
The Rebel idea is a good one, though.

you can check out GTA exotics in Toronto.
they dont rent BMW's, but they do have a good selction of bikes for rent... even a Ducati 1098!!!

Although I'm tempted to go for the Ducati, I'll probably rent the EX 250 for the test, and
treat myself with a Ducati weekend once I get the license at hand
