Moved to GS

Just to say that I have sold my trusty R after 30 000 miles and now have my leg over a GS.
I have found this board to be invaluable over the years with the nicest and most helpful bunch of people on the planet. I hope you dont shout me down if I keep popping in for a look from time to time.

I sold my 1150R last summer, but I keep coming back to this forum like a bad habit. I realized selling the "R" bike was a mistake and was going to buy it back, but the guy backed out of the deal. I would buy a good used GS if I could find one. Don't see many, and when you do, they're gone before you can even call on them.

The Roadster is so very much based on the GS that they are brothers. Cousins, maybe. Okay, friendly uncle and step-son. But you get the point.

Hi Croc.
Please keep in touch & let us know how you get on with the GS. I have often wondered what to get if I was to replace my R1150R, the GS is one of the few bikes that ticks all the boxes.
