So..........Looks like I'm going to be president of one of the largest BMW motorcycle clubs in America.

I'm running unopposed for the 2009 Term of the Yankee Beemers Motorcycle Club
( http://www.yankeebeemers.org ) The official election doesn't take place until Dec15, but I have some exciting news that I need to share with all my fellow riders..........

#1) If you are not a member, you should be. Our members come from all over New England, and we have members from as far away as California. A great group of folks and a wealth of information about things Beemer.....

#2) We are holding a huge Motorcycle Centric Holiday Bash in January, and you are all invited. I'm hoping for this to be a huge success so please sign on and lets have a great time. This is a great opportunity to take your favorite other on a very inexpensive weekend at a first class hotel. The Music, the Food and the Company will be great!

Here are the details for the annual YB Holiday Party.

Where: Crowne Plaza, Natick, MA.

When: Saturday evening Januray 24, 2009
6:30pm: Happy Hour with Rock the Silo (Acoustic)
Dinner at 7:30pm

Awards, music and merriment until midnight.

Menu:

Cream of Asparagus Soup with Crab
Caesar Salad with Garlic Croutons and Shaved Asiago Cheese
Poached Salmon with Citrus Beuure Blanc Sauce
Sliced Sirloin of Beef, Three Peppercorn Sauce
Season Vegetable Medley

Special Guests and multimedia presentation by Jason Adams and Jim Stoddard, members of winning Team USA in the recently completed BMW GS Challenge in Tunisia, South Africa.

All the YB Awards and platitudes we've come to love along with a chance to honor the retiring officers and welcome the new.
