Belly pan for a R1150R, anyone know about adding one?

Post by BMWEW1 »

Yeah I know its supposed to be naked, but we live in a free country right? I am considering adding just a little bit of cover to my RR cause I kind of like the look of the belly pan on the yellow R1150R in the front page photos of this site. I did search old threads and found info on Wunderlich, AC, and other pans but I want the one on the yellow bike. Anyone know who's bike that is or what make that belly pan is?

The yellow bike was owned by a fellow in Texas. The belly pan was hand formed by the owner as was the wind screen (modified GIVI 750) that was fitted to the twin lights. He was good with fiberglass......

The yellow color is 2000 Corvette which he also owned and mimicked the bike after the car. The bike was sold a few years back......I know because he removed the mod pieces to restore the bike to original and I bought the lights with the windscreen which I promptly painted and installed on my R1150R

Yeah, it is currently unavailable, though.

Wunderlich offering is quite "special" to the tune of $455 clams.....WOW and probably needs to be painted as well.
