The $1100 end to the clutch story

So my 02 roadster's slave cylinder was the culprit. It then caused the master to fail as well as totally fouling the clutch disk. I rebuilt the master myself with the kit but took the bike into a shop for the real work. $1100 later I am back on the road. I was fortunate to find a shop to do the work as the dealer was going to be $500 more. If there is a moral to this story, I guess it is bleed your clutch system regularly. At least I did not have any spline issues!
