Apologies if this has been covered and I have not looked well enough, but can somebody please point me in the right direction for checking / adjusting throttle synch on an 1150R.
I have come across an article for and earlier 1100R, but not sure if the same applies ?

Thanks :?:

No, not the same at all. The synchronator has to be calibrated up 50cc's to accomodate the increase in fuel loss on the TPS values. Air notwithstanding. Once you get the modular OBT synchronator calibrated properly, just apply any knowledge gained from this email to a warm damp cloth and wipe off the BBAS screws before you back them off of TDC. :^o

Disregard all of the above. There is no difference in the TB synch on the 1100 and the 1150. At least that I'm aware of, and my awareness is oft suffering...

I re-read my earlier reply and it really doesn't help other than show you how to build a manometer. This link may be of more help. I have a procedure on my computer at home (at the office right now). I will look for it this evening if you don't find what you need today.

P.M. me if you don't find what you need. I have several files on my computer, including a BMW shop video, on TB syncronization. I can email them to you if needed.

Go to the Rockster forum and look at the 12th or 13th post by yours truly. You'll find 4 videos that will keep your bike at peak performance. Good luck...... :-k :-k
