I had two r1150r's one with abs and one without, i traded the one without for a r850rtp, for daily commuting, dirt, salt, trafficjams and other terrible things you might encounetr on your daily trip.
and have a wonderfull gem in the garage for great fun in great weather.

The bike has less power, is more heavy, same year but older technique but has an awsome fun factor.

Your other bike must be pretty special because I would sure want to keep this one tucked away from all those terrible things. Love the night/day photos.

Hi guys,

Sorry for my late respons, bussy bussy, bussy, login problems, nice upgrade.

I drive it as on the foto's, all stroboscope lights are removed, wire's and control boxes.
But by law i didn't have to that, i'm not allowed to use the lights or a two-tone sirene.
but now the police can't do anything :D they try: i've been stopped already once, i wasn't
in a hurry and actualy provoced it a bit as well, and 15 minutes later i was told that
the lights and sirene were ok but that i could get a fine for violating trade mark! \:D/
Yeah, sure, like getting a fine for wearing a real Rolex ](*,)
But that makes the sory even better, and i have to tell the story quite often.
It's a super social bike, get to talk to so many people and girls, great fun.
And altough it has only 74 horsepower (850 cc) it's much faster in traffic then the r1150r.

My other bike? R1150R 2005 with only 4 km yes that's four kilometers or two and a half mile.

Good Luck..I own a 1996 r850r and it is a wonderful bike...too bad they only imported them to the states for two years. 72,000 miles and strong as ever!
