My daughter goes to school in Lakeland Fla. and called the other day and asked me where she should go to get an oil change. I am looking for a reference of a reasonable, trustworthy, local establishment. I am pleased that she is asking, when she lived here I couldnt even get her to check her oil. Any info is appreciated, thanks. :D

When I spent the last few winters there, I used to frequent a Shell Oil Change
facility on Hwy 98 North - I would recommend them. They also did a really good car wash there

The Toyota Dealership in Lakeland, on Memorial Blvd, does oil changes for $12.95 + tax and disposal fee ~ $15. total. All makes and models, not just Toyotas.

I take all my vehicles there (except bikes ;-) ...cheaper than doing it myself. Sometimes there is a wait, depending on the time of day... usually about 30 min.

Does your daughter go to Fl Southern?
