Hellooo everyone!

I haven't posted here in ages but I do visit often

I thought I'd share some pics of our annual 2007 Toy Run which happened this past Sunday (25-11-2007). All in all there was in excess of 50,000 bikes country-wide which participated. On the Johannesburg run alone we had more than 22,000 bikes and collected over 40,000 toys! 8)

With all the excitement I forgot to get a pic of my bike all dressed up

This was one of 5 starting points. (You can see half of my bike :) )

Here's some random pics of the toys, bikes, the ride etc...

The toys ... All for a good cause :D

The only other pic I took of my bike. This gentleman was kind enough to go and park it for me after I had already stripped all my kit off. It was sooo hot and I took refuge under this little tree to wait out the traffic jam into the parking lot. :D (Imagine 22,000 bikes trying to go through 3 gates  )

That's all folks!

I look forward to seeing more Toy Run pics from other countries. 8)

That does look like a lot of fun. I liked the way you posted the photos too. Nice. The orange chopper was sharp!

It has got to be a little weird in the Southern Hemisphere when most of the Christmas stuff is set up for snow, etc. Songs like "white Christmas" are not realistic there, are they?

Yip, I have yet to see snow in my life let alone a "white christmas"

Christmas day is usually spent around the swimming pool having a braai (Barbeque) or a cold lunch 8) . It's just too hot to spend the whole morning in the kitchen roasting turkeys and potatoes etc..

I think even Father Christmas finds it too hot here as he doesn't visit me anymore :(

Blondi,

It's always great to see pictures, riders, and motorcycles from other continents. Thanks for taking the time to share.
