Yeah I know it's supposed to be summer and we shouldn't have to worry about heated grips, but I live in Scotland and had to switch the heat on a couple of nights ago and discovered that the left grip is kaput.
When have time to spare I will check the wiring to see if it is getting current, if it is getting power and the heater element is dead how do I go about replacing the faulty unit?

I noticed the same thing a couple of month’s back with the left heated grip of my R1150R. But since I did not have the time or know-how to fix it, and I really wanted it to function for my motorcycle trip to Germany, I asked my dealer to take look at it. He replaced the whole left unit. It wasn’t cheap though….
