I rode across Pa on 30/40 and the first national highway which along the Maryland/PA border. Not the most inspiring roads but interesting scenery. My goal was to make the Gettysburg Campgrounds by 6pm, so I hopped on I-68 toward Hagerstown. I had some nice twister's on Old 40 that parallels I 68.

The rodes around Gettysburg are beautiful but difficult to do much carving without imperial entanglements. I traced the river toward Harper's Ferry and was rewarded with rolling hills and and sunshine.

By far the best riding was central PA through the hill country. There is a piece of brilliance from Tyrone ( off I-99) highway 453/729 toward DuBois.
Posted as 45mph, the 50 miles of road was perfect... almost empty, smooth, and lots of tight turns.

I stopped after a nice bit for a stretch. Looking at my rear tire, I wonder if I was even close to leaning the R to the max. Can you get the R to the edge of the tread and still not touch down on a jug?
