I was just stickybeaking in Don's Roadster page (such a good read, Don!) and saw a comment about healight protectors.

As you can imagine, headlight protectors are a must-have in Australia. I was converted after losing a K100RT headlight glass (much moolah) and have used 'em ever since. Always have protectors on my cars, too. I tried the thick adhesive vinyl on my R1150RS, and wasn't overjoyed - so back to the hard protector for the R12R

These folk have been making them for years, with a strong focus on BMW items and great service - here's their R12R one:

Notwithstanding I've not yet got the bike, I have one on order already (yeah, teah, I'm a tragic - I received my 16" Cee Bailey Screen last Friday)

Looks like $47/AU which is around $40/US - but wonder what shipping will be to the US. I'll bug my source for one and see how their making a mold is coming along...

BTW - thanks for the compliment on my R1200R page.. more will be coming eventually in an article for the BMW-MOA Owners News..

I'd think about $55USD delivered.

I paid $47 + $11.75 delivery (AUD), so allowing $20AUD for economy air (based on sending stuff to my brother) gets $55USD ($67AUD).

Good product, but working with polycarbonate isn't rocket science, so no doubt a US maker will sort it out for the same cost, meaning lower delivered cost to you.
