so, here's the deal. I have access to a facility where I can fab crash bars but it would be great if anybody has a design I can copy to complete the job. Anybody out there?

Please, don't put crash bars on a ROCKSTER. They belong on an RT or an RS . . . maybe on an R (If you're particularly clumsy

).
If you're worried about damage to the cyclinders... the cylinder cover is replacable, without changing the look of the bike. Other than that, the cylinders themselves will protect your legs/feet from being mashed.

I'll make sure not to put them on yours. I've had the displeasure of crashing my rock (not dropping, crashing) and the cylinder head covers slid the bike neatly off the road, so I'm up to speed on that. I'm looking to fab up something similar to Motech's. With the ugly stripes removed, a set of flat black crash bars will look really cool.

I fitted some Hepco and Beker ones, in black with the handguards gives a sort of urban cool look. also make good leg rests for long trips. RR
