First of all I want to apologize to and thank David (beemeridian) at the same time. I apologize for the sneaked photo of him "watering" the fauna on a side road and I thank him for a great evening of companionship as we camped at Watoga State Park on Thursday night. All my pics from that experience were out of focus due to my inability to remember to reset the camera from "close-up" to "normal".

Second I need to warn you of a photo capturing what some would suggest is an alien life form. You'll know it when you see it.

Third, I don't know why but I have an overly large number of photos of the Hibberts. I guess I was trying to get ankle shots to see if the sagging sock syndrome was hereditary.

You can make the slideshow small but the sound doesn't seem to be as clear.
This was by far the best of the 3 bashes I've attended and I am very glad I got to meet all you new folks that I haven't met before and to see old friends again.

Ann absolutely loved it and it said so much more than a few pics could. It pretty much showed what happened all weekend. The song sets the mood and defines why we went there. It also makes the people that decided not to attend even more regretful.

Uh . . . that'd be me . . . . but it was used in my informal show-n-tell for interested Bash attendees. We discussed the oil cooling flow & passageways, intake valve offset from center port, plug threads dusting valveseats, the restrictive looking flow reversion shelf in the exhaust port, and the guide wear visible by wobbling the old pitted exhaust valve.
I also had a 2 window cutaway of the stock muffler (bartered with Beemeridian for bike service work). It clearly showed the restrictive, 3 tube, 3 chamber, 4 turn route the exhaust gases take.

The cylinderhead is off my bike when I removed the heads for DeCarbonization to remedy excessive pinging. When the Phillipsburg NJ BMW dealer cracked it trying to replace the (worn) intake valve guides, I was given a new right side head. They declined working on the left side head and I decided to put the engine back together due to the additional long downtime for obtaining new valveguides and finding a BMW dealer willing and able to follow the oven and dry ice procedure outlined in the service manual. A freezer and localized wagging torch heating doesn't cut it, as they found out.
