Come on Phil - are you going to let a simple thing like a root canal (and the likely crown you will also need) get in the way of riding? Seriously, I hope that you are able to get things fixed in time for the weekend.
Herb and I will [hopefully] be there late Fri afternoon. Looking forward to seeing everyone again the usual HMSP "mist".

You can never trust an extended forecast beyond four days. This is looking better:

Employing my unparalleled grasp of the obvious: A 40% chance of precipitation means a 60% probabilty of no rain which in turn means the odds are in our favor.

Sorry to ask such a lame question but here goes.
Do you guys bring a sleeping bag? Looking at the temps - I am thinking I would likely prefer just taking a sheet instead. Much less bulk too.

Chris, I use a light weight sleeping bag, but usually end up sleeping on top of it.
On a more somber note, it doesn't look like I will be able to make it. I am having trouble with one of the pistons on my rear break caliper releasing, and it looks like I may have to rebuild it. I don't wanna ride a thousand miles with it like that, and inadvertently cause more damage.

Packed and ready. Need to get emissions done on one of my four-wheeled vehicles early, then heading out. Should be there sometime in the early afternoon.

Ey! They don't get back until tomorrow. In the meantime:
Overnight: A chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Sunday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 11am, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. South wind 7 to 10 mph becoming west. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
